Jon Saeed, Co-Founder and Managing Director at Lighting Legends
Jon Saeed is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Lighting Legends, a UK-based outdoor lighting company known for its premium, weatherproof lighting products. He leads the business’s marketing and brand strategy, overseeing everything from website development to product and packaging design. His mission is to create long-lasting lighting solutions that combine high end design with sustainability.
Jon co-founded Lighting Legends with Adam Wilkins in 2020 after running a successful gardening business for eight years. With a degree in business management and hands-on experience in garden design and landscaping, they spotted a gap in the market: high-quality outdoor lighting that was stylish, durable, and sustainable.
Driven by a frustration with cheaply made, throwaway products dominating the market, Lighting Legends was launched to offer a better alternative - lighting that enhances outdoor spaces while standing up to harsh weather and daily wear.
Since launching, the brand has worked on several high-profile installations including supplying lights for Cristiano Ronaldo’s family home in Madrid, and illuminating the UK’s tallest Christmas tree at Cragside for the National Trust, as seen on the BBC.
A lifelong gardener and outdoor enthusiast, Jon is passionate about creating beautiful, functional environments. He’s also an advocate for sustainability, working to reduce waste and encourage long-term thinking in product development.

Adam Wilkins, Co-Founder and Managing Director at Lighting Legends
Adam Wilkins is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Lighting Legends, a UK-based outdoor lighting company specialising in durable, design-led lighting solutions. He oversees operations, finances, supplier relationships, and logistics - ensuring the company runs efficiently and delivers exceptional service to every customer.
Adam co-founded Lighting Legends with Jon Saeed in 2020 after ten years serving with Nottinghamshire Police, followed by several years running a successful property investment and lettings business. This background provided him with strong foundations in leadership, operational management and financial control - skills he’s carried into the day-to-day running of Lighting Legends.
Driven by a frustration with cheaply made, throwaway products dominating the market, Lighting Legends was launched to offer a better alternative - high quality lighting that enhances outdoor spaces while standing up to harsh weather and daily wear.

Outside of work, Adam enjoys long walks with his Labrador. His appreciation for peaceful outdoor spaces helps shape the way the team operates, with a focus on helping customers create gardens they can enjoy all year round.
