Q: How can I connect "Elite Festoon" or "Super Festoon" string lights together to create a longer length?

A: Our lights are made for easy extension, You can easily run much longer lengths from the same plug socket. To do this simply unscrew the cap at the end of your first set of lights and remove the plug end from the new set of lights, then attach this to the end of the first set with the male/female connection points included. 

Q: Whats the maximum length of string lights I can run from one plug socket?

A: Please see the "Tech Specs" tab for specific product information. Our best selling "Heavy Duty" string lights have a maximum connected length of 550 metres and the "Super Festoon" string lights have a maximum connected length of 650 metres. 

Q: How much do you charge for delivery cost?

A: We proudly offer FREE TRACKED 2 DAY UK Delivery on all orders over £35.00. (exclusions apply) A £3.99 Delivery Charge is automatically applied to all orders below this amount.

Q: Is it possible to run lights in multiple directions from a single power source?

A: Yes both our "Elite Festoon" & "Super Festoon" lights have 2 way splitters so you can connect lights in multiple directions. This helps our customers create fantastic lighting displays. Take a look at these products on our "Accessories" page.


Q: Are the LED bulbs supplied with your string lights dimmable?

A: Yes the bulbs supplied with the Elite & Super Festoon lights are dimmable with the purchase of the additional Dimmer Unit. However we also have some lower wattage bulbs available for some products.

Q: Can your mains powered lights be hard wired or wired into a switch?

A: Our mains powered lights can be hard wired or connected to a switch. However, we recommend this is carried out by a qualified electrician to ensure safe and proper installation. Please note that modifying the lights in this manner will void the warranty.

Q: I am considering purchasing / I have recently placed an order with you and would like to check how long the delivery time is?

A: All orders are sent directly from our head office via a 2 Day Service as standard unless you have chosen to upgrade this service to Next Day Delivery. Orders placed before 2pm will be dispatched on the same day and are usually delivered within 2 working days. Customers automatically receive tracking information via email or SMS. Q: Do you deliver to Ireland or Internationally?

A: We do offer International delivery however a standard "International" postage rate applies per order. You will need to manually select the specific country from the drop down list in the checkout stage for the postcode to be recognised correctly in our system. Order to the EU are limited to £135.00

Q: Do you offer "Blue Light" Discount? 

A: Yes, at Lighting Legends we value the invaluable work done by all of our emergency services and proudly offer a sitewide 10% discount for Blue Light card holders. Email us with a valid copy of your "Bluelight" card in order for us to add this to your account. If you have any difficulty placing your order with the discount then please email our support team who will be happy to assist you completing your order.

Q: I have received my lights and one or more of the bulbs are not lighting up, please can you advise how this can be solved? 

A: First, ensure your lights are unplugged, then twist each bulb further to achieve a secure fit. These bulbs require a tight seal around the base to maintain their waterproof integrity. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, the brass connector inside the bulb holder may be flattened. While the plug is still disconnected, carefully lift the brass connector so it makes contact with the bulb.
