Q: Is it possible to connect your "Heavy Duty" or "Super Festoon" string lights together to create a longer length?
A: Yes absolutely, the lights were designed with this in mind. You can easily run much longer lengths from the same plug socket by simply unscrew the cap at the end of your lights and remove plug end from the new set of lights and attach this to the end of the initial set. The "Heavy Duty" lights have a maximum connected length of 550 metres and the "Super Festoon" lights have a maximum connected length of 650 metres. Q: How much do you charge for delivery cost?
A: We proudly offer FREE TRACKED 2 DAY UK Delivery on all orders over £25.00. A £2.99 Delivery Charge is automatically applied to all orders below this amount.
Q: Is it possible to run lights in multiple directions from a single power source?
A: Yes, Thanks to our fantastic 2 way and 3 way T splitters you can now run lights in multiple directions. This helps our customers create fantastic lighting displays. Take a look at this product is our "Accessories" collection.
Q: I am considering purchasing / I have recently placed an order with you and would like to check how long the delivery time is?
A: All orders are sent directly from our head office via a 2 Day service as standard unless you have chosen to upgrade this service to Next Day Delivery. Orders placed before 2pm will be dispatched on the same day and are usually delivered within 2 working days. Customers automatically receive tracking information via email or SMS. Q: How much is the delivery cost to Northern Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey, Scottish Highlands & Isle of Man?
A: Unlike many other retailers we also offer FREE Delivery on all orders over £25.00 to Northern Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey, Scottish Highlands & Isle of Man. You may need to manually select the specific country from the drop down list in the checkout stage for the postcode to be recognised correctly in our system.
Q: Do you deliver to Ireland or Internationally?
A: We do offer Express International delivery to these regions however a standard £19.99 "International" postage rate applies per order. You will need to manually select the specific country from the drop down list in the checkout stage for the postcode to be recognised correctly in our system.
Q: Can I upgrade my delivery option to a faster service?
A: Yes, For an additional £4.99 you can choose to upgrade your delivery method to our our fastest next day service. Orders must be placed before 2pm for same day dispatch.
Q: Do you offer "Blue Light" Discount?
A: Yes, at Lighting Legends we value the invaluable work done by all of our emergency services and proudly offer a sitewide 10% discount for Blue Light card holders. If you have any difficulty placing your order with the discount then please email our support team who will be happy to assist you completing your order.
Q: Where is Lighting Legends based?
A: We are a independent Limited Company based in the UK. Our head office is in Derbyshire and our full company details including VAT number and company address can be found at the bottom of our home page.
Q: I have received my lights and one or more of the bulbs are not lighting up, please can you advise how this can be solved?
A : Simply unplug your set of lights and retighten the bulbs which are not lighting up. Due to the waterproof seal required on our outdoor string light bulbs they need to be tightened as far as possible to ensure a tight seal around the base of the bulb. If this does not resolve the problem it may mean the connector inside the bulb holder has been flattened. Whilst the plug is removed from the socket, Using a flat head screwdriver gently raise the brass connector inside the bulb holder to ensure a good connection between the fittings.
Q: I have tried the above method & my lights still aren’t working, what do I do?
On the rare occasion that a fault does occur we are more than happy to provide a replacement & arrange for a return delivery. If the product is deemed to be faulty a full refund of any return postage will be made. All of our products come with a 12 month manufacturer guarantee.
